The Apollo Academy are back with their annual showcase, featuring the students from our Saturday and Sunday academies.

This year we are doing something different and we are so excited! Our fantastic drama tutor Sam has written a story that will run through the entire showcase - the story of two former Apollo students who have gone on to become a hugely successful musical theatre writing duo but can't come up with their next idea. They visit their former school to inspire the next generation of talent, and what unfolds is unexpected!

Featuring music from The Outsiders, Frozen 2, Glee, The Foo Fighters, The Kaiser Chiefs, Moulin Rouge, 13, Shrek, Demi Lovato, The Jungle Book, Jessie Ware, Peter Pan, and soooo much more - this promises to be our best showcase yet!

Apollo Theatre Arts are thrilled to be presenting this intriguing and beautiful folk opera that delivers a deeply resonant and defiantly hopeful theatrical experience.

Following two intertwining love stories – that of young dreamers Orpheus and Eurydice, and that of immortal King Hades and lady Persephone –Hadestown : Teen Edition invites audiences on a hell-raising journey to the underworld and back.

Performed by a cast of some of the finest young performers in the UK, this promises to be a very special night at the theatre.
